I can only imagine what would happen if you followed the instructions on this thing!! :earseek: What's scary is that I AM signed up to get email updates from Microsoft. I'm glad I didn't just believe the email!! :rolleyes:
 
Microsoft NEVER emails updates to users. If you get something in your email that claims to be from Microsoft, delete it. The practice is called "phishing" and is more and more prevalent these days. Anytime you get one of these emails, DO NOT click on the links in the message. In fact, it is good practice to never click on links on sensitive web pages but to instead type in the URL (website address) so that you get to where you think you are going.

It's a dangerous place out there on the internet. Be careful.
