Has anyone gotten this email and if so, was it applicable to campsites at FW? We didn't get one, but here's hoping.

I was able to answer my own question. My sister got the postcard and was told it was a few dollars more than our AAA rate we already have. Needless to say, we kept what we have but, if you get the postcard and don't have a discount already you should check it out.

No, I wish we had the postcard though. What are the dates that you have to use it by?

Has anyone tried to use the e-mail for a discount on the cabins? I got the e-mail today (actually two of them) and am thinking of calling to re-book. Discount isn't good for 11/26 & 27 so I'd have to make two reservations I think - one for the 26th & 27th and the other for the 28th to Dec 5. Has anyone ever done this? And if so, did you have to change cabins when the second reservation began? Thanks for any help you can give me.

If you make two ressies just have them link the ressie numbers. You will probably have to recheck in on the second one, but you will not have to move. We have done this before.

I booked a FW cabin yesterday for 10/30-11/2 for a rate of $139.00+tax using the email PIN #. Not sure yet if we will keep the res. We have never stayed in a cabin. We usually take our travel trailer to FW, as a matter of fact, we were there 7/8-7/18 and had a wonderful trip. We purchased APs for that trip so I just couldn't resist calling when I got that email to see if we could squeeze in a short fall trip. Our kids are out of school 11/1 and 11/2. I don't think I can hold out a whole year to go back. I got it bad!!

FYI: I was quoted $185 for CR and $105 for PORS. We have five in the family and are very limited as to where we can stay (within our budget).

I never get the email discounts.........what are they?
We had AAA discount for our 8/22-9/1 trip, then found they were offering the military discount, so i went with that:sunny:

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try to call them tonight. Thanks also for letting me know that making two separate reservations is doable. I ended up getting two of these e-mails - one at an old e-mail address by husband now uses and one I recently used to re-register on the WDW web site. The old e-mail address was one we had when the Disney Club still existed.
