Email notifications stop working on some threads

When I subscribe to a thread, I like to get an email notification that there is activity in the thread.

But for some reason, on an especially active thread, it will work for a while and then stop. Notably the
FastPass+ Basic Info, Suggested Priorities, And Strategies--Part II
thread. I have to unwatch and watch the thread to get it working.

It isn't a case of just having not visited the thread after the last notification. I ALWAYS visit at some point after the email arrives...it just stops sending them.

Running into this myself. I set up notifications for ADR cancellations and received them in early June and then they stopped.

I've only subscribed to a few threads but have had the same issue. I'll get intermittent email notifications at best, other times they stop altogether.
