Email from Disney Destinations But All I Got Was..

I thought maybe some humor would help those of us who are trying for PINS and aren't getting them but are getting something else, in the vein of "My parents went to X and all they got me was this T-Shirt"....

I had a really crappy day at work yesterday, and went home and checked the new email account I made following the directions that were posted where everyone else seems to be getting a pin. Saw that there was an actual email in there from Disney Destinations and was holding my breath, clicked on it.....

and got a downloadable snowglobe. Which won't work on my home computers as my husband runs Unix, and I can't download on my work computers as it's "suspicious software".

Anyone else want to share?

I would love to get a pin I have never gotten one so i dont even know the feeling of opening your email and seeing Disney destinations in your email...lol..

I got an email as well to my new account from Disney Destinations the same day I opened it. It was only a welcome email with instructions on how to update your profile and create intineries, etc...

My daughter opened her email ( who I also registered at some precarious moment in the last week ) and said MOM! A Disney Email....

I feel your pain! I gave up on my regular account and finally set up an account with my work email b/c I'm desperate for a pin and the next day had an email from Disney Destinations. Opened it with trembling fingers and it was just propaganda for the resort I had clicked on on the website. No discount. Just "here's some pictures of your resort." There was a spot where you could send a response and I wanted to send "MY resort will be Windsor Hills unless you send me a freaking PIN!" Honestly, I'm so tired of people writing about getting 3 or 4! I did see a post where several people wrote they had also gotten the resort email and it was followed the next day by a pin email. So of course I'm back on the emotional rollercoaster, checking every 5 seconds... UGH. I know eventually fall promotions will be available to everyone, but I just want to book ASAP so planning can be fun again. Good luck to us all!

I put under edit accommodations, that I will be spending the holiday at Universal unless Disney gives me something better?!!!!!!!

So I have made 7 new email accts and they are all saved on my cell phone so I get notified if I get any emails, well all of a sudden all emails are sending an alert saying I have new email so one by one I check each one hoping its a 20/30/40 pin. NOPE!!! Its a prince of persia contest. Disney is killing me!!!I should just stop trying maybe disney will take notice!!! LOL ya like Ill stop trying good luck to all!!

Have you tried calling Disney and asking about any codes connected to your account? I saw someone's post that they tried that, and they had a pin! I decided to try that myself today (after doing all the things posted on these boards and not getting anything via email) and what do you know-I had the 20/30/40 code all along!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!...um yes...I too received the Prince of Persia mailing AND (was so excited when I seen this sitting in my inbox...just waiting to be opened...like a gift at Christmas!!!)...pictures of the resort I posted in an itinerary...(yep...no "gift"...just a big fat tease of NOTHINGNESS!!!!!!!!!!!)

I am going delirious...seriously...

You know that scene..."STELLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA".......yeah...that's me everytime I open my inboxes and get nothing or a teaser....."DISNEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY"

I got the same thing. I also went to see if I could find this code in the trailer thhinking, if I won that Visa card I wouldn't have to worry too much about discount PINs anymore.

I watched that trailer 3xs. Couldn't find any hinden code.

Disney really wants us to work for these codes.
I feel like I have a second job, trying to get a PIN code.

Yep I have! I am becoming fast friends with these people since I call them once a week cause they say oh keep trying you have to stay on top of it!! I do have a FD attached to my name but im going in dec so its no use to me. I just want the 20/30/40 code so I can calm down!! oh well if I dont get it its ok cause i'm still going to disney either way but still a discount would be amazing!!!!
