We've been going to WDW for years, and we have NEVER received a PIN code. But today I get one! :teeth:

I was just wondering...it says the value resorts are $69 per night using this code. The email says "other room types at other resorts for varying rates"...so my question is: does anyone have an idea what the rates at other resorts might be?

We do not have a trip planned and it would take some doing to take one...but if I knew the rate was a really good one and a really good resort I might be able to talk my hubby into it!

I just got it too!! We got one for December too but this one we might actually use...

I've been lucky we have received 5 pin codes emails this year alone.

I got it too! And I am trying really hard to come up with a way to go. My DD bday is feb 12. She would love to do the pirate and princess party for her bday. I am working on a budget for it, tell me what u guys think of this.

We drive down on Sunday, only go to parks on Mon, then the party that night, and drive home on Tuesday. I would only need a 1day ticket for my son(everyone else will have 1 day left from Thanksgiving trip).

1day ticket and party ticket pirate: $220 princess:
2 nights value resort $150(about)
food popcorn:: $100(no table service)
gas :moped: $100
for a total of $570

And the best birthday ever for my DD(she will be 9 that day)

What do you guys think??? That would have to be her bday present(she would def. be ok with that, she has always wanted to go to Disney for her bday)

Tell me I'm not crazy???? :confused3

Not a problem. Now did you get it from subscribing to Disney? I have never received any. Just wondering if this is something random that they do.

Thanks Again.

Just out of curiosity, how do the emails show up as far as the sender/subject? I have registered my email with everything Disney I can find and never receive emails from them. As far as I know, I don't have any filters that would keep it from coming through as I receive other group emails, etc. Very frustrating!

Hmm, who sends out the email. Is it Disney?? I have registered I think everywhere too. Any suggestions. Thanks...................

It comes over as Disney Destinations... I have received some under our name and some under my mothers name. They are all tied to my address though so I can use it regardless of the name..

The only way I can think why I get them in my mothers name is she always travels with us and we get two rooms. One in her name and one in my name...All confirmations come to my house though...

I think we get them because we are repeat customers and they have our email address. It can be totally random.

Just got my 1st one too! I'm about to call to see the mod rates. :dancer: :maleficen :hmghost:

Please let me know what the moderate price is! I am dying to know and I don't have time to call. I would also like to know the discount on deluxes...:o)

Couldn't get a price for mod due to no availabilty and only preferred rooms at Movies for my dates Jan 2-9 and I tried Jan3-10. Preferred rate was 81.00 plus tax per night. I going to keep trying later1 :guilty: :sad2: :sad1:

I think that's a great birthday present - one she'll remember forever. What a great mom you are!

I called today to book a room for my parents, and they had a code attached to their name. They offered my POFQ for $124 a night. I had called for a AAA rate, which was actually a better deal at $116 ($145 rack - 20%). :confused3

I was all excited when she told me they had a pin and it would be better than AAA. Um, no.

I got one too and just booked a Fort Wilderness cabin for Jan. 5-8 at $214 per night (normal is $249). Not bad. Still hoping FL resident rates come out!

I got the email also, but we are planning for March

If it helps anyone, I finally got the elusive PIN code for Nov-Dec and the AP rate for that that time period was $5 less per night. This was for a mod. The discounts just aren't what they used to be. :sad2:

Sorry I am so long getting back to this thread!

I agree with Dawgsgirl that they aren't what they used to be! I remember getting a postcard a few years back for $49 for the values.

Anyway the email subject line was:

January Dreams Come True for the _________ Family. With your last name filled in the blank.

I called to see about the rates on a couple of resorts, but I had a bad connection (cell phone) and gave up before I asked about every place I wanted to check. The Beach Club was full, but the Yacht Club had a room and so did the WL but now I can't find where I wrote down the price! When I find it I will post back.

But here is the odd part: she said 'now we have your email address as _________' then she gives me my old email address from several years ago. I said, "how did you send me this email if you don't have the correct one in your system?" And she named off every member of my family, but had my kids as 9 & 12 instead of 12 & 15. She said, 'it's been a few years since you've visited', I said, well we were down last January in Port Orleans French Quarter for a week. Didn't bug me or anything, actually kind of funny but I thought Disney was better at keeping up with everything about us than that! ;) But the PIN code was attached to my name, I did not have to read the code out to her...she was like 'oh yes, you have a PIN code for your family and yadda, yadda, yadda'

We got a pin code e-mail yesterday too. We were already thinking of going Feb 3-10 so I called to inquire. Unfortunately there is almost no availability with this code, at least at moderate or deluxe resorts. I asked about WL and she said all they had was a deluxe room at a rate of $595 PER NIGHT!!!! I'm thinking, and this is a special discount?!?! Four years ago we got a courtyard view room at WL at a discounted rate of $124 per night just by calling...now that's what I'm talking about! So looks like we will be staying off site instead of at WL. :sad2:

I called yesterday and told had code but not open at any vaule or mods for our dates 1/25 one night 2/5 one night. I called back today to cancel magical express on our package as we our now driving and inquired again about prices for above nights and told had discount attached to my name and got a rate of 77.63 w/tax at POP which is where we are staying for package. This is not great but any little bit helps. I did not really want to pay 92 w/tax for these nights. So I would keep calling and trying you never know when a room will open up. I had a wonderful CM that was very helpful.
