When Del got in touch with Ems mother this morning to find out how Em was feeling, we got more bad news.
Em had an allergic reaction to the Zithormax, broke out in hives and was running a temperature of 100.1.
Del called me immediately and told me the news. I, in turn, called Ems mom to see what I could do.
Six hours, 300 miles of rain, ice, fog and heavy winds later, Em is here with us!
Those postal guys have nothing on us pizza drivers.
Her fever is normal and has stayed that way for the last 8 hours. The hives are gone now too. She has a new prescription of Amoxicillin. Her cough is pretty bad and we are calling the doctor again in the AM for a follow up.
Em doesnt have much of an appetite right now but she has a doughnut on the nightstand just in case.
Shes lounging around like a lady of leisure watching cartoons.

Some extra pixie dust on the way to help Em feel back to 110% again! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Glad to hear it! Happy Holidays to you all!
