Since when did Lime Green ribbon become such a hot commidity? OR did all of you who got yours come to the Philly area to shop for it and clean us out?
I found almost-lime green ribbon and got a 5-yard spool of it for 24 cents.Woo-hoo~ It was either buy that and then have time to pack or spend two weeks looking for the real color and have it but nothing else in my suitcase.

In April 2001 I also purchased a large roll of lime green ribbon. I then mailed a couple strands to other DISers on our cruise.

In April 2002 I purchased lime green leis and sent them to all of the DISers in our group. A wonderful way to recognize each other that first day in the port and on board the ship. I purchased them in bulk at an online party story. And boxed up and mailed over 100 leis! We also had ordered lanyards as a group and I made custom inserts for the card holders.
:p

I was never able to find the right lime green ribbon, so I went to the Daytona Beach Flea Market and bought a nice little nylon dog/cat collar in a bright lime green. It's easy to fasten onto almost anything and is very durable.

I'm in the Philadelphia suburbs (Malvern, PA). Found some great lime green ribbon at JoAnn Fabrics. It was by the yard--so I just bought a few yards.
