ELSA dress hunt!!!

There r tons of Elsa dresses in Norway Epcot. Actually they seem to be all over Disney world stores. We r looking for pins and Olaf plush and can only find dresses.

If only this was last week!! My parents were just done there and they were able to get an Anna dress for my youngest but no Elsa for my oldest!

We have Belle and Cinderella dresses from littledressupshop.com. The bodice is a sort of stretchy velvet material (not itchy!) so they accommodate growth nicely. They are also washable and hold up pretty well. However, they are not exact replicas of the Disney dresses. My girls didn't care, but my 6 year old niece pointed out right away that they are not "real" princess dresses because they don't have the little picture in the front. Saturday is the last day to pre-order the Anna and Elsa dresses.

Would be nice if they would have actually spoken to someone at Disney about what they're trying to do to address the shortage, rather than some random toy blogger.

It will be interesting to see if analysts ask about it after the next Disney earnings report is released or if it's addressed at all at today's investor's meeting.

It would of been nice, but then again all Disney has said (so far) is that new merchandise will be out in a limited supply beginning of May then at a more regular supply starting in July sometime. What frustrates me is that people on sites like ebay will actually sell this dress for $800! I get wanting to make money but really how greedy can you be?

Oh man, they added it to the disneystore.com yesterday around 3pm. They sold out right away too.

I saw that they were backonline yesterday at 1 CST. I was trying for a nightgown, we already have a Elsa JCP dress which is jsut as gorgeous.

There is a Disney Store a few blocks from my office that I stalk on a daily basis (time and weather permitting ). If anyone has something particular they'd like me to check for, just PM me. I am happy to help out fellow POFACs (Parents of Frozen-Addicted Children).

I seem to always just miss the dresses. Yesterday was the first day in a week I didn't checking the disney shopping site and BOOM, dresses hit.

I think I might end up just buying a tutu Elsa dress of etsy instead. I have Belle and Snow White dresses on the way for our upcoming trip and really wanted an Elsa.

I keep checking as well as the dress we bought for DD ended up being massive on her. Of course by the time we got it we weren't able to exchange it for a smaller size. I just keep checking and hoping! Can't believe i missed it yesterday! I came down with the flu and for the first time in months I was unable to check. Boo!!!

If any one is in the store at Disneyworld and sees the dresses can you ask if the store would be willing to accept phone calls for Frozen costumes and ship to addresses outside of DW?

I lucked out yesterday and snagged a 5/6 in Elsa dress for my DD6. I am on vacation this week due to spring break and visiting family. My mom and I just got back from buying Easter chocolates from the local chocolate factory and I saw the notification on Facebook from Disney store . I checked and saw the dresses and snagged it along with pj's and baby Sven plush and tiara. I think that was the quickest I checked out ever . DD is getting Olaf plush for Easter but I got that in March.

Wow, what a nice offer! Everything Frozen is sold out completely around me. That's why I went with littledressupshop for the dresses. I have been looking for the Disney Store "barbie" type Anna and Elsa dolls (not the light-up or singing ones. I think they are called, "classic"). Also, an Elsa crown would be great! If you see those, please let me know!! THANK YOU fellow POFAC! lol

I am really surprised Disney has avoided providing the Frozen Elsa dresses? Is this because Elsa is a Queen and not a princess? Though Anna dresses are also difficult to find.
I am beginning to wonder if this ongoing delay has something to do with the unexpected popularity of a strong independent queen & princess. Disney has no need to worry, the other princesses will always be dear to us and our daughters. Love Cinderella!

Just thought I would let everyone know that some stores (those that do have stock) are doing a Frozen Day on Saturday (tomorrow) The people who arrive at the store at opening will receive a raffle ticket, if their tickets gets pulled they can buy a dress. None of the stores in my area are doing this and only one has heard of it. So if you have a store near you I would try calling and see if they have this event going on. Good Luck!

A raffle ticket for the chance to BUY a dress? Sheesh. I'm glad I'm not in the market for one.

I have yet to find one on etsy that resembles Elsa's actual dress...as well as the disney store one does.
