ELP Reservations?

Is it worth it to get reservations for ELP? My DF loves this parade and I am thinking of surprising him with an awesome view. Any thoughts?

We have never had a problem getting great seats on the sidewalk shortly before it starts. I think I enjoy it more being down on ground level where the snails can come "talk" to you, rather then watching it up above.

I love parade interaction! I've had amazing experiences in WDW with their parades. (Although it helped being a CP, and knowing one or two people in the parade )
