Eloping at Disneyland?

My fiancee and I are considering eloping and we thought what better place than disneyland! We are from the east coast but happen to enjoy the land more than the world plus we're big on the national parks of the west coast. We looked on the disney website but only found things for big weddings. It would only be the two of us. Has anyone ever eloped at disney and if so any information would be appreciated!!!

I have never done anything like this but Mousesavers.com has a huge section on disney weddings and honeymoons. there are over a hundred different pages of info so I would think there might be something about eloping. Might be worth a shot.

Congrats by the way! I hope when I get married I can do at Disney.

honeymoon at Disneyland!!!!
I think it is easier to get married in Las Vegas than So. CA. Then you can always spend the rest of your trip at DL

I second the Vegas elopment, and honeymoon at DL! Gosh , it is not as bad as you would think some of the chapels here are quite pretty! I looked into a renewal at DL and it is a fourtune!
Get married and buy the bride and groom Mickey ears to wear around the park!

Give the wedding people a call and see what they can do for you. They might be able to do an elopement.

Another option is to come out here and elope, but not on property. The county courthouse (where the marriage licenses are) does perform ceremonies and if you pay a little bit extra you can have it done in the old courthouse building. It is over a hundred years old and really pretty. It's a old brick building and the inside has realy nice woodwork and only used for weddings. So you could stay at Disney and splurge and get a limo to take you to the courthouse to get married and then back to DLR, it's like 20 min or so each way.

Are you planning on visiting any National Parks during this elopement trip? I once saw pictures from a wedding inside Yosemite and they were breathtaking. You could marry on the beach, the Grand Canyon, Zion, Sequoias, Yosemite... and then honeymoon in Disneyland.

ok. this is what me and my hubby did:
got married at the courthouse nearby, went out for lunch, and then went to disneyland. and when you do, go to city hall and let them know that you just got married and they'll give you 2 special stickers. we had such an awesome trip.
