Has anyone done this? We are huge Character meal fans! However, it is really hard to fit everything into one day @ SW! So, I was wondering if this is worth it? I have a DD3. How is the character interaction & who are the characters that are usually there? How long does this usually take & are the normal times always 9:30am or 10am no matter park hours? THANKS!!

We did the Elmo breakfast when my daugher was about 18 months old. She loved it and gave Elmo a hug when it was her turn to see him. She yet goes up to the characters at Disneyland. They had 2 characters Elmo and Big Bird where you can take photos or buy the ones that they take. Other characters walk around while eating and you can take a photo when they come by. I did have to go up to some of the characters since they all did not come by where we were sitting. I was not impressed with the offerings for breakfast. From what I remember french toast, pancakes (i think), cereal, fruit, bacon, sausage, and that is all that I can remember. I thought they offered more at the Shamu breakfast. Also I noticed some people walked in from the building right next door and sat down at an open table with their breakfast they bought with their kids. (this happened near the end of the breakfast) Not much to say for keeping people from entering from the other building without having to pay. I did tell someone and left a comment about it from their comment cards. They also had a time when all the characters got together and danced. I wish they did this more than twice. It was so fast that by the time my daughter and I made it over to where they were dancing it was almost over. My 18 month old daughter kept asking to see Elmo and Big Bird. Also if you want to buy their pictures and get extras do it early. We were going to buy some extra photos but they said due to others wanting extra pictures they would not be ready until after 2:00. I would say only about 15 people had gone to the cashier line to buy pictures when they said extra pictures would not be ready until the afternoon. Since we were leaving before that, we just paid for the ones they had on hand one with Elmo and the other with Big Bird. Overall, if your kids love the characters from Sesame Street I say you will not go wrong.

Thanks so much for the info! I am sadly thinking of skipping this since I just want to see as many shows while we are there as we can. I read there was a 123 smile area where the kids can meet the characters as well. Is this a really long line & are there a variety of characters you can see there?

The smile area which is located in the Sesame Bay of Play area. When we were there the line was not too long, but that was just because they had just opened. The characters that were there were Elmo and Big Bird. Not sure if they have anyone else come out.

We did this breakfast 2 weekends ago. I have to admit it's not as organized as Disney character meals. I agree with everything Mickey 7 said.... We saw Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby and a few others. My kids loved all of them, however we had to walk around for them to see the characters. So needless to say I missed much of my breakfast. The food was ok, nothing really amazing. I did take a few cereals and some fruit for snacks later in the day!! :) All in all the kids had a great time, us adults not so much.
