Elmers Glue as a moisturizer?

So I tried to post this thread earlier, but it got all weird IDK why
But yah so my mom told me today that she read in a magazine at the Doctors office that Elmers Glue can be used as a good moisturizer, because it helps soften skin, and get help remove blackheads from your pores. You put it on as you would your hands when your a lil kid, then rub it off once it's dried, and it should help get out blackheads.

Now I cannot tell if my mom is telling the truth or she jsut wants to see me put Glue on my face.
I attempted to look it up online and got nothing.

So has anyone heard of this, or any other weird tricks for your face, skin, hair etc?

Toothpaste works, but it hurts like hell, if your zit is big, or if its already burst. I've done it.

I would think the glue would make everything sticky, and then it would hurt to get it off.

I've used the toothpaste method, i really didn't notice a difference...

Toothpaste works really well to get rid of pimples/blackheads/blemishes whatever. Just put a dab on the pimple and you should notice a difference in like 10 minutes.

It hurts like hell, though.

Now the times I have tried the toothpaste, it basically drys the zits out along with any other skin its on, so what does everyone mean by it hurts? I've never experianced pain from it before....

Uh yeah I did put glue on my face last night. It didn't help the pimples it just got all flakey and I scraped it off.

I think your mom is just trying to make you look funny. My mom was LHAO....
