Well first if you have never been on this ride there is no way you could call this ride claustrophobic. All the rooms are huge like a basketball court or larger.
As for not getting off, they don't strap you in. In a true emergency you would just get up and walk to the nearest door marked EXIT.
I think this ride is one of the most traditional Disney rides there is. It presents a story in an interesting way with different scenes and a unique way of getting from scene to scene.
So as others have posted don't take your kids if they are scared and go potty before you go on.![]()
You must not be prone to panic attacks from being stuck in a place and not being able to get out when you want. The ride is soooo long, that is the problem for ME. Anyhoo, I don't like the ride.
