Ellen's Energy Adventure - yikes!

I could take it or leave it. I like it for the educational value and I love everyone in the movie. And you can't underestimate getting to sit down for 45 minutes in the air condition. But i'm going to skip it this year. It's not very conducive having an antsy-pantsy toddler on the ride.

Last I heard, she was not there and the creature she was fending off is gone as well.

That was the case in January of this year.

(That animatronic of Ellen was as scary as the creature she was fending off.)

I dislike the "movie" (guess that's what you'd call it) part before they let you in to the actual ride. It's too long & time consuming. I like the ride, it's relaxing. Though I wish the CMs would check the rows between rides. Every time we've gone there's always been a couple of rows (at least) with stuff spilled or left on the seats.

Ellen's Energy Adventure is good for a nice nap on a hot summer's day. Other than that, it serves no value and should be gutted.

I can't even remember the last time we rode this. I vaguely remember dinosaurs, but that's pretty much it. Of course now I have to do it again to see if it's as sleep-inducing as I fear...

No, but Alex Trebek's epic perm and his "a gopher just died on my lip" mustache deserve some props.

It's all part of the timing of the ride. They cannot start up until that much time has elapsed because they have to clear the theater cars and should be checking out the ride vehicles to see if anything was spilled during that time. However, the length of the pre-show is determined by the time needed to space out the ride.
