eligible pins for trading?? bigger movie ones

i'm on ebay looking for lots of pins cheap for trading at my next trip to the world.

first off -- is that what you all do? what price is "good" i'm figuring $3 per pin (including shipping/handling fees)

are those bigger rectangle movie poster replica pins official for trading? i found a lot of 10 for like $3 with maybe $2-3 more for shipping? that seems TGTBT?

You are able to trade the Disney Store Movie Poster pins in Walt Disney World. At one time they were not eligible for trade in Disney Land but that may have changed (I have not been there in a while).

be sure when you are looking at pins that they are pinback and not buttons, I had this problem when I first started buying pins. Buttons are not tradeable, for example, the store promo pins for movies.

Agree -- they must be PINS, not badges, buttons or cardboard movie promos.
Some Ebay sellers use the word PIN rather loosely.
Tradeable pins must have the Disney (c) on them, front and/or back.

Some sellers need to be looked over carefully. Just for grins I searched pins for Disney movie pins. There is a lot of 60 (ehem) "Rare" pins. Shipping is an additional $25. And some of those pins don't even look like they are Disney. Not any Disney pins I have seen. So maybe they are rare. (Look like Precious Moments pins )
Ebay can be very good. But it pays to read and look over everything before bidding.

Check out Pinpics.com to help you know if it is a pin or button. The search option works well, especially if you have some info about the pin from the auction description. I have a whole bag of buttons from when I started collecting because I thought they were tradeable pins per the Ebay description. There wasn't much I could do because they were pins of a sort and I guess some people do trade them.

what cost do you think it worth a bid (I would avg the shipping cost as well as the bid) for a lot of pins solely for the purpose of trading for fun??

I tried to keep it at about 3.50-4 dollars a pin but I was buying a lot. This is a good figure.
