Hi there. As Canadians who own a condo in Kissimmee, would we be eligible for the discounted Florida resident annual pass to Disney? My wife seems to think we would, I've heard conflicting opinions. Thanks!

Do you have ID that shows you live in Florida? Everything I've seen for the Florida passes says you must provide ID when you activate/pick them up, and I'm not sure just owning property would be considered "resident" for Disney's purposes.

Not sure, but this is what it says on Disney's website:

Florida Resident Tickets:
Proof of a Florida residential address is required. For each adult ticket purchased, you may provide any of the following:

Valid Florida driver's license
Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
Valid Florida-based military ID
The persons who will use the Florida Resident adult tickets must be present at the time of ticket pick up. If you do not have one of the IDs indicated above, then for each adult ticket purchased you must provide one of the following dated within the last two months and evidencing a Florida residential address together with a corresponding picture ID (passport, driver's license, state identification card):

Monthly mortgage statement
Florida vehicle registration or title
Homeowner's insurance policy or bill
Automobile insurance policy or bill
Utility bill
Mail from a financial institution, including checking, savings, or investment account statement
Mail from a Federal, State, County or City government agency
Bills can be no more than two (2) months old. PO Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency. Current bills printed from electronic versions are acceptable, though photocopies and fax copies are not.

Being Canadian has nothing to do with residency....

OP Use your utility bills if they are in your Kissimmee address and not your CDN. You get resident discounts at other parks too ie Wet n Wild etc....

Good Luck.

The utility bills have been accepted a number of times with my Canadian friends. A CM did challenge one couple last Fall but another CM confirmed that it was acceptable.

Thanks again for all the replies. We're heading to Florida tomorrow. I'll be submitting our home owner's insurance renewal form as well as a current hydro bill for our condo address in Kissimmee. We'll see how it goes!

Received our Florida resident annual passes for myself and my daughter this past week. I presented our electric bill showing my name and our Kissimmee condo address, along with our passports at the ticket booth. No problem whatsoever.
