I got mine off Ebay - its the Elf from Rhouldpoh the grumpy boss elf my daughter thinks its great when she seems him working at the North pole! I pail about $5 shipped for him last year... Hes comming again this year!!!

I got our's from Joann's- it was a Christmas ornament and I pulled the hanging string off of it. I like him because he's cute and has wire limbs so he is posable.

I love our Elf on the Shelf. I hated forking out the money, but it's been totally worth every penny.

When you buy one, I'd suggest getting one that you can pose & is small enough to do things with.
We have had so much fun with the different things our elf has done to the house!

This was from Michaels and my mom said they had a few different elves also. He was $16.99, but she was able to use a 40% off coupon on him. this one is holding chalk and he came with a little chalk board you could write messages on.
