I am considering trying to take my mom on a WDW girl's weekend. She has numerous health issues (not even sure if she'll be brave enough to try) one of which is severe reflux. At home she has the head of her bed raised and she requires it to be this way every night. Has anyone ever had this done at a WDW resort or do you think they'd be able to do it? Surely the beds are fixed to the floor?

Thanks!

i've not had to do this, but I am sure you could bring a wedge. google sleeping wedge to see what I mean... actually let me see if this works..

This is a pretty high wedge, but you can get them has small as 6 inches high, to over a foot high. all depends on the angle she wants.

How much elevation? We have rolled-up blankets and placed them between the mattress and boxspring. I know my older brother has taken furniture cushions to do the same. I have used risers(to raise the head of the bed and other furiture) and still bring them with when I bring Mom with to raise chair heights.

Some hotels have all sorts accessable equipment so I normally call and see if I need to bring things with me.
