elevated calcium bloodwork - bone scan 5yrs after breast cancer

Has anyone had elevated calcium bloodwork 5yrs after having breast cancer? My older brother will be having a bonescan Wed morn to rule out bone cancer. They have checked his thyroid and parathyroid and both came back fine.
