It looks like if you stay here, you can walk to ICON Park, correct?

How about walking to Fogo de Chao? I see you have to cross I-Drive. Is that a safe crosswalk and do people walk along I-Drive?

Thanks!

Just pulled a map, yes this hotel is right next to ICON park and yes you can walk to restaurant. This area of Orlando is HEAVY with pedestrians. Many stay along here without cars due to so much being around, walkable to attractions and the public transportation here. You have no issue walking to both places, just be sure to use crosswalks.

oh yay! i think this might be a better choice for us than what we have booked. less driving around and more ease of getting in and out. thank you!

Element is the building on the right, Icon Park is the parking garage and you can see the wheel. The road there is a driveway to enter the entire ICON complex, which Element is part of. No issues walking around there.

International Dr crossings are much busier but again just stay in the crosswalks and use the lights and you will be fine.

oh great view! ok - yeah - we just confirmed it will just be "easier" to stay here given our itinerary for the two nights we are in orlando. gaylord, while interesting on many levels, just won't be a "worth" it experience since we are so busy and need to be closer north for meeting friends for dinner and going to the magic game. thank you!
