I am asking this question for my mom who will be at DW with us for a week starting this Sunday!!! She has had double knee replacements and needs to rent an electronic wheelchair while we are there. She does not want one delivered to the resort she just wants to rent them at the park. We have read that they have multiple day rentals available does anybody know the costs or how this works?? WE are staying at POP so she doesn't need it while we are at the hotel. Thanks in advance for your help!!

The parks do not rent electric wheelchairs. You will need to get an ECV. which by the sounds of it may be ok for her. My husband uses an electric wheelchair part time and he cant use an EVC because he cant reach out all day long due to muscular dystrophy problems. Thats probably worse than walking for him. I have checked and the only place to get electric wheelchairs is through rental companies. we wont be bringing his because we have no way to transport from the airport to Disney.

sorry I used the wrong words....ECV Scooter that is what I am asking about. That is what she rented last year but we did it daily and now she was wondering if they had mulitple day rentals

I've used Walker Mobility, Care Medical and Scooterama in the past for my grandparents. They all will drop off and pick up at your hotel. I think Care needs you to be present when they deliver. Prices are around $30/day but it is much more convenient than renting at the parks. We stay at BW and my grandparents only used the bus once (rain storm at MK). Otherwise we planned our days around using the monorails. Although the buses aren't that bad it can be a pain at park closing. The monorail is much easier IMO.

Care is who we rented from for our upcoming trip in December and they were so good to handle everything. They said we dont even have to be there when its delivered.

I wish I knew your multi day answer? FOr us an ECV isnt an option so I never checked into it. One problem I see is they run out. If you pre paid for it and it has run out then what? Is there a reason she doesnt want it delivered to the hotel? I hear the transportation is great and I will find out in December. This will be our first WDW with an electric wheelchair.
