Steamers and irons are not allowed on any cruise ship due to fire danger.

thanks ,what would happen if you had a steamer in your hotel prior to you going on the cruise .Would you get it back at the end of the cruise or is it best just not to take one at all?? Or don't hotels like you to have them either!?

I think hotels are ok because many of them have irons in the rooms. If the steamer is found in your luggage when boarding the ship, I have read that they will hold it and return it at the end of the cruise.
