Has anyone seen these electrical water pageants? Is it worth leaving the park to do?

many have. honestly, if you aren't familiar with it and aren't really looking forward to it, it's not worth leaving the park for specifically. but if you happen to catch it, it's nice.

I have seen the water parade, but its not worth leaving the park for. Depending on the hotel you stay at, you might be able to see it from there.

Not worth leaving the park. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. I read so many great reviews about this pageant and truly thought it was a "not to be missed." I had my family all lined up on the beach. We sat down, and there was a good size crowd gathered behind us. The music began and the boats started to circle around towards us. Yes the lights are very nice, and the tune stays in your head for hours, but it is very, very short. We stayed awhile thinking there was more to come! Lots of build up. On the other hand, if you are at a resort and you can easily catch it, do so, but do not go out of your way.

I agree with the op's, if you happen to catch it, its ok, but nothing to set a time for leaving a park.

We were staying at CR and also had the entire family lined up on the dock SO excited. My son looked at me and said " Was that IT ?"

We just expected much more than it was. Our room was facing the water so all the remaining nights we caught it and enjoyed it - but it became more of a joke every night .

It's cute - but nothing spectacular !

It is a thoroughly charming and enjoyable water parade, and so relaxing. We've managed to see it from land and by boat and enjoy it from all perspectives!

I was so excited to see this when I stayed at the Poly, I hadn't been to the parks in 10yrs I loved going to the beach at least one night to see this, they sadly changed it to add some little mermaid stuff and made the program shorter (I hear that a hurricane had damged some of the barges) It use to be better, still nothing worth leaving a park to see but worth walking down to the beach to see.

We stayed at the WL and caught it there. If we weren't staying there I would have been dissapointed that I took time to hike over there to see it. It was a nice relaxing 15 minutes sitting on the beach. DS never even picked his head up to look he was too busy playing in the sand.

I like it! But if I'm having fun on Splash MT I'm not leaving for The pageant. It is very relaxing, enjoyable and the perfect thing to end the day with. I look forward to it! It's peaceful and like the music. I Watched it from Poly's Beach.

I agree with lots of other posters. We stayed at the Contemporary and saw it, but I personally wouldn't make a special trip for it and don't plan to catch it again when we're there next time at VWL.

We are not staying at one of the hotels. My girls are really little so I thought it would be good on the way home. Can you see the fireworks and the water parade from the poly beach?

Yep ypu can see it from the Poly beach. One night we were crossing to our car on the ferry and it went in front of the ferry. That was a nice surprise !

In May, we plan on catching the EWP at the WL one night after dinner. Can you see the high Wishes fireworks from the WL beach as well?
