Electrical Parade in March!

Looking at the calendar for the hours of my upcoming day trip (March 20th), I noticed that the Electrical Parade will be showing starting on March 19th. However, it'll be at DCA and not DL like rumored before. Since no other dates have been released past the 20th, not sure how long it will be showing for. Usually DEP hasn't run during Spring Break has it? Maybe it's cause Fantasmic will be down.

I would be much more excited about thise news if my March trip was this year and not last year, lol. But it's still great news for everyone who will be there. I haven't seen it since I was a kid and it was still on Main St. and I am dying to see it again.

OOOh, I hope it's slated to run through the summer, starting in March. We're planning a May trip. We missed out on it during our Sept trip. It would be DD's first time seeing it. Just hearing the music in my head right now... warms my heart!

Not surprising as DLR has done this before when F! was down. Have fun!

Not surprising, as DLR traditionally runs the DEP daily during peak Spring Break period, and then after peak Spring Break they go to weekends only through April and May and early June until peak Summer season starts, when DEP runs daily again throughout the summer. They do this even when F! is running.

Just my experience as I have been tracking the DEP's schedule for years now.

I'm bummed, we are going early March so we won't see the show. But that makes a good reason to come back.

I actually posted about my DNephew getting a role as one of the dancing donkey boys in DEP a few days back. I'm going to ask him how long they are telling them it'll be running for.

Last year the light parade was at DCA. I actually prefer that as there is more room to sit/stand and everyone isn't crowding you on the sidewalks and the walkways remain clearer.
