Electrical Light Parade

Need some advice -- I have reservations at 7:45 at Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge. We are planning to eat supper and then take the boat back to the Magic Kingdom for Extra Magic Hours. I saw on another website that the Electrical Light Parade begins at 9:00 (wishes that night is at 10:00). Where would be the best place for us to watch the ELP? Should we stay at the Wilderness until it passes or travel toward Magic Kingdom and watch from another location?

Well if you are worried about making the ELP because of time, enter MK through the left tunnel and go through Adventurland to Frontierland where the parade ends. This can give you an extra 30 minutes since it takes a long time for the parade to get there.

The problem with this is you are now in Frontierland for wishes.

This may not matter because when you get into the MK Main street and the hub will already be full of people so you weren't getting a prime spot anyway.

You could change your ADR for something earlier and hope for a better spot to see both the ELP and Wishes.

closer to your dates, check and see if the ELP is running a second time at 11pm. that's the one we catch in the summer.

I'm assuming you are talking Spectro Magic or coming soon the Main Street Electrical Parade and not the water parade around Bay Lake. Having said that if you have dinner reservations at 7:45 I don't think you will make a 9:00 parade in MK. Dinner should be about 1 hour and then you have travel time. If things are quick you may get to MK by 9:00 and you could probably see it if you go up into the train station, but your time table pushes it.
