Electrical Light Parade & BLT

Hi -

I tried searching the forum before asking, but couldn't find an answer. I was wondering if I had a Magic Kingdom view at BLT, would I be able to see the Electrical Light Parade from my room/balcony (do these rooms even have a balcony?)?

We love the parade, but not so much the weather and crowds in the summer. Since we live in Florida we can go to the parks often and are considering a very short 1-2 night trip so that we can see the parade.

No. You can barely see the top of the castle from BLT much less mainstreet. You are WAY over at the Contemporary Hotel. MK view is in the distance.

We had a lake view and were able to enjoy the parade two times per night. Once as it approached the Contemporary and again as it went on it's way to Fort Wilderness.

The Main Street Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom (which returns this summer) cannot be seen from BLT. However, the Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon Floating Electrical Pageant can be seen from some balconies at BLT as Halle states in the above post.

You are talking about boats, not a parade. THe OP was talking about the parade in the MK park.

not sure about the rooms - but from the roof (in very few places) you can see the EP as it goes up (or down) main street to (or from) the castle.

if you have little kids they won't be able to see it - the big wall is in the way.

teens should be able to.

there is no music piped in for the parade.

bring a telescope or something else to see with - it is not very big at all

You'll be glad if you can see it and not hear it. We saw it last night at the MK and the music was the most annoying ever. The same four or five notes repeated over and over and over. Makes you love "it's a small world after all...."
