Will be in WDW for 10 days in January, looking to rent scooters for one possibly both parents. Not wanting to spend $ 70 a day at each park. Any suggestions?

If they have an electric wheelchair at home, then I would bring it with me. If not, they won't be allowed to rent one because they are very difficult to drive.

If you meant a scooter, then you can rent one from many providers. Check the FAQs at the top of this board for a lot of information. It contains a lot of information you will need. Here is a quick way to get to it: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=595713

I know that Apple has some of the cheapest rates out there for scooters.

I agree with Piper that unless they use a powerchair (not a scooter) at home, then most companies won't rent one of them to them. They are trickier to use than they look and take a lot longer to get used to than a scooter.

Sorry I wasn't clear, scooter is what they will need. They aren't handicapped, just not able to conquer the parks for long without assistance.
