Electric Water Parade

I've heard about this parade but I have a few questions. Does it run in December? If it does run... what time can you see it and where can you see it from? I couldn't see it on the schedules anywhere. Thanks.

When we went during Christmas Week 2004 it was running. I want to think it was sometime during the 9:00 hour. You can see it from the monorail resorts. We watched it from the Poly beach.

Its like a little show secret for people staying at the deluxes and Fort Wilderness. It pulls out of a canal by the MK and does it thing at GF, then moseys over to the Poly, and I believe it goes to Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness and then the Contemporary before doing a show in front of the MK. I think the resort times are posted on Allears but you can inquire at your resort for viewing times for the above mentioned resorts.

I've read posters say its lame and not worth the effort but for us, we never miss it. It hasn't changed much and heas been running since park origin albeit some hurricane damage that stopped it for a few days. We first were surprised in 1977, staying CR, north garden wing, to hear this loud music from outside. We went down to the dock in our pj's and caught the end and then inquired at the desk what that was all about. We watched it every night after that, once we got the times.

We always catch at least 2 showings while we're there, it great, well done and one of the free things Disney does to add alittle magic.

I have always thought the show is pretty neat, it goes by all the magic kingdom resorts and in front of magic kingdom. The times are always different and sometimes it's hard to find out when it is. We usually see the little parade before or after the wishes fireworks, and it's neat to see it on the Poly beach.

Remember that if the EWP runs at the same time as Wishes, which it often does, it will run silent, which kinda sux.

Eating at the Poly, go out the back doors of the GCH and head for the pool, thats straight out the walk in the direction of the MK, north. You'll run into the beach quick, be sure to inquire at the desk or your server, what time the water parade runs. Be alittle early, its sometimes early, on time and alittle late but cool !

(Its not called a "parade", its called a "pageant", so that's probably why it was hard to research.)

The beach is very large, the "pageant" is very short.

Anyone can go to the hotels, just tell them your there to check out the fireworks. The beach is also located near the pool, usually you can walk further down the beach to a less crowded area. Also you can hear the music real well for the EWP and for Wishes, the only downside is you can't hear all of the audio feed for wishes. But I know we love to sit and relax watch the shows on the beach Also the EWP is about 10 boats and they have a tower of lights on them and they change to different things, it's pretty cool. Just make sure you find out what time it's at since it is pretty short. You can also see it from the GF, in front of MK, and Fort wilderness. Have a good time!
