My husband has always wanted to see the Electric Water Parade. On several WDW trips, he has always missed it. I thought it would be a great way to spend our first night there. I have never seen it, either. Can anyone give me suggestions on where is a good place to view it? We are staying off property. Can we still visit a resort and watch it from there? Which one is best? Thanks!!

Having visited WDW many, many times and never having seen the water pageant, I was determined to see it on our trip last November. It believe it can be seen from the Contemporary, the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian and possibly one other location. I suggest you get a time schedule, (Someone on this board will certainly be able to give it to you) and just go to the most convenient area for you. We saw it from the Polynesian, I believe near Luau Cove, if my memory serves me correctly. Just go to the guest services desk and have them direct you to a viewing area. It was a really nice, low-key way to start off our vacation.

At 935pm it can also be seen from the Wilderness Lodge beach. On our arrival day we have dinner planned for Chef Mickey's followed by the fireworks on the observation deck. Then we will be catching the Electric Water Parade. Great start to our vacation.

The water parade can be seen from the beach at FW at 9:45, often followed (depending upon closing times) by the fireworks over MK at 10. You could do the MK, leave and take the boat to FW, enjoy both and take a boat back to MK to leave.

It's really neat, so you'll enjoy it wherever you see it!

Apparently, according to the nice people at GF you can see the electical water pagent from the beach of the Grand Floridian at 9:15. We will be watching from our bedroom window in 106 days!!!!!!!! :pinkbounc
After that we have reservations for a nice romantic dinner at Citricos for 9:45. Have a wonderful trip!

when we went to US/IOA this yr I jsut had to get a little dose of WDW so we ate at 1900 park Faire and then headed to the boat dock at GF to watch the parade and the fire works. The view of the fireworks over the castle was wonderful.
