Staying at WL in Dec and my wife is VERY excited to see the Electric Water Pageant on the last night of our stay...is it worth seeing or could the time be spent better seeing Wishes (or the Christmas fireworks) at MK a second time or even Illuminations a second time? Also storytime for the kids? Good time to be had by the little ones? Thanks for all info.

The EWP is very cute and short. Last year we stayed in room 5005 (courtyard) next to the Lake and you couldn't miss the parade. It was a little loud from our room but I think I enjoyed it more than the kids! One night we did take hot chocolate out on the beach to watch.
As far as Wishes goes, my son doesn't like fireworks so we have never stayed in the park that late. But from some hallway windows on the higher floors I would watch the fireworks. They were actually the Holiday ones! Make sure to check on all the activities for the kids. My kids loved those just as much as the parks!

Actually you can watch Wishes a second time and see the EWP.When will you be at WDW?If Wishes is at 9:00,you will have time to walk from Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary Resort Marina and watch the EWP from there and then take a boat over to the Wilderness Lodge. If Wishes is at 6:00,there won't be any overlap at all between the two events.:)

I really enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant. It is very cute and very Disney. If I am at a place or time to see it, it is a bonus. We saw it from FW on our very first trip to Disney in the early 80's and it always make me remember that wonderful trip. On one recent trip we saw it from 'OHana as we were finishing dinner. We weren't able to hear the music inside, but I was still excited. And another trip we saw it on the water from the boat from the MK.
That said, if I had something else to do, or I was not in the area anyway, I would not make a special trip for it.
