Any reviews on the Electric Umblrella?

If I remember this is at EPCOT and they have dessert and coffee? We always stop here once a trip for a delicious, very unhealthy breakfast!

We were there two weeks ago for lunch, and it wasn't very good. If you go, stick to burgers. The kids had cheeseburgers, which they said were OK, but I had the roast beef sandwich, which was inedible, and I literally threw it away. With all the good places at Epcot, I would not go back to the EU.

Ok, that's the big dinning next to where I'm thinking about. I'm awful at remembering the names of places we eat. I do recommend the little place I was talking about. It's mainly for dessert.

You're thinking of the Fountain View - Good Chocolate Cake

Well I'm looking for a quick service place in Future World for lunch. I saw the Electric Umbrella has bacon cheeseburgers and was like hmm don't have burgers any other time on the trip, so might as well. Before I always went to Sunshine Season Food Fair for their BBQ chicken sandwich.. but now it's gone.. But I'm open for anything, that's why I asked.

First of all I have to say that I was a chef for years as a profession but I love burgers. The Electric Umbrella is ok to good most of WDW burgers are the same. They have a decent fixings bar and if you time it right you can get in and out without to much of a hassle.
We ate there this past Jan 4 adults 1 kid and everybodys food was decent I think in-laws had chicken of some sort.

Hope this helps Dave

I have never tried Electric Umbrella for lunch, but we always have breakfast there the day we visit Epcot. I'm not sure if they still serve them or not, but we always get the breakfast bagels, which are very similar to those sold by McDonald's a couple of years ago. It's inexpensive, quick, and pretty good for breakfast. I would imagine lunch is also on par with McDonald's/Burger King.

It's just standard kinda fast food-ish food. The Island Salad (or something like that ??) was really good though. The burgers and chicken strips are WDW standard issue ;)

We were STARVING the day we went to Epcot (slept in...skipped breakfast) and the EU was the first place we saw to eat. (last october) I remember the burger being pretty good. It wouldn't have been our first choice though...if we wouldn't have eatten our hand off before we got to WS we would have found something there. :)

We go to EU every trip! It's not fancy but their burgers are good and sometimes they have a great fruit salad. The thing we love the most is sitting at the tables outside watching the fountain and listening to the music and watching the birds!

I was not at all impressed. The food was average, but the place was dirty. I really was surprised.

Unless you're completely exhausted, it's just a hop, skip, and jump over to many fine counter service restaurants in World Showcase. You're much better off going there.

I've been there several times for meets, since it is centrally located. Each time, I had the black bean soup, which I liked.
