Electric Scooters

My five year old wants an electric scooter for Christmas. He's tall and weighs over 60 lbs. Can anyone recommend a good brand/model?

We bought DS11 a Schwinn electric scooter last year for Christmas and he loves it. We haven't had any problems if it at all. It's top speed is 15 mph and fully charged will go for about 6-8 miles.

We're glad we chose an electric scooter over a gas powered one. I believe the weight limit is 240 pounds.

I echo the Schwinn....it is great! We have the 750 model...my son is 11 and loves it.
