electric pellet smokers

We had a local BBQ festival this weekend and I saw a demonstration of the electric pellet type smoker. I did some research and found a mini made by Green Mountain Grills. The Davy Crockett looks like it would fit in my bay door. I realized I have an outdoor kitchen problem this weekend and the outdoor kitchen is my favorite activity at the fort.. I am out of room already and I still am trying to figure out where to put this 60 lb grill! These smokers are perfect for the Fort to slow cook. I need to get a bigger RV or maybe tow a trailer.

Any feedback on the pellet type grills?

I have a Traeger portable. Have made smoked ribs, burgers, steaks on the ptg while camping. On vacation last year with family I made a nice prime rib. Yeah we rough it when we camp lol. We also have a full size traeger at home. I think they have a 3 year warranty and very good customer service.

We alps have a Traeger at home, and just this Christmas, received a portable traeger for camping. Ditto everything you said. Love everything you can do with a Traeger, and don't have to babysit the grill.
