Not well.

And, you'd be sitting in the restaurant for about an hour (desserts long gone) after Wishes
waiting for the parade to reach the hub.

But isn't the fireworks-watching in the Plaza Garden, not at Tomorrowland Terrace? Or is that only for a few days before the MSEP leaves? When does the dessert party location change?

You can get close to the parade , then return to the terrace .

Currently, the dessert party is at Tomorrowland Terrace. Starting in October, there will be another dessert party option, with fireworks viewing at the Plaza garden, in addition to the Tomorrowlannd Terrace seating.

^This.

But unless the OP is going in next couple weeks it will be irrelevant since the the parade will be gone.

PS When we did the dessert party we were not permitted to stay in the terrace, they were cleaning and asking folks to leave.

We're actually going next week and have Garden Plaza viewing for the dessert party. I thought I was informed before that you couldn't see the parade at all from the garden plaza area - is that the case or did I misunderstand?

It's just not a good viewing location.
There will be guests standing between you and the street... outside the fences of the enclosed viewing area.

So you booked one of the first of the new parties. If they are using the same space as the last time they tried this (and I imagine they are) yes it is right next to where the parade goes through. Is it a good view and optimal?, not really to me if you want a full view. You will have folks lined up on sidewalk in front of you, still have half the sidewalk used for people walking through and that end of the garden is the most narrow so everyone looking will push to that end. And while we don't know yet how it will play ... it could be that once the fireworks are done they will open the garden up to all so get your spot asap.

I believe you will be in the garden to the right above the number 8. The red is the parade route. You will have a view for sure, at least head level and above. Probably be crowded in and have lots of folks in front of you. Depends on what you want for a view. I've seen it so many times I wouldn't care but ............ with next week being their last week for parade and party nights, anticipate very large crowds.

This is perfect, thank you.
We're on the fence about canceling the party altogether ... just not sure if we really want to brave the end of the road MSEP crowds. I was thinking maybe the garden viewing could provide a safe haven from the masses, but the closer we get to actually going I'm starting to get wary of just how busy it's going to be. I'm just not in the mood for next-level MSEP madness. :(

I hear you. I will be there Thurs-Sun of it's last weekend. I had thought MK on Saturday. I was planned before it was announced. No way I want to be near MK the final weekend now. I'm kinda Disney sentimental but the parade will look exactly the same as it has the last 100 times but the crowds ............ think we will spend Thursday at MK then go to MNSSHP. Am now looking at doing Friday and Saturday at ..... Universal. Then a Disney park Sunday.
