Can 15 year olds drive the carts around with an adult sitting with them? Or is a driver's license required to drive one (I know you need one to rent it, but I wasn't sure if our teenager could drive with one of us sitting beside her).
Thanks,
DJ

I am not positive,
but I believe you have to be 16 with a valid driver's license .

100% sure you have to have a drivers license to drive the cart. When my DS only had his temps, but was over 16 he still couldn't drive the cart.

:rotfl2:

100% sure the kid across from us last time around wasn't older than 12... but hey, at least was the oldest kid in the cart! :scared1:

Thanks, well I guess next spring break she can drive it! She will get her license in October.

FWIW, I don't know if I'm going to let my DS 16 drive our cart this year, at least near the marina or pool. With all the other folks walking and riding bikes on those same paths, it got very crowded at times!:drive:

Besides, his girlfriend is going with us this year and I dimly remember how that affects a young man! :flower3:

LOL...my golfcarts a chickmagnet (in MY mind!!!) and Im 40!!!!

Heck, I was nervous enough letting DH - who apparently was confused in that he was NOT doing the Richard Petty Driving Experience - navigate the traffic down there.:scared1:
