Electrical Light Parade Preferred Seating Questions:
1) Where is the preferred seating located?
2) How much are the tickets?
3) Do they give out dessert boxes similar to Fantasmic?

Thank you in advance for any info.

Call Disney..you can book this..(I think) 30 days ahead..not the usual 60...I did it once..and..didn't get any dessert..we had a roped off area..with chairs.. in front of the Playhouse Disney area..right before the ELP was done...It was okay..but..not worth a lot of money..IMO...

I didn't even know they had preferred seating! That's what I like about this site. Learn a new thing every day!

Truth be told, however, I don't know that I would bother if it cost money, because I've never had an issue finding great seats for the parade. We grab some hot chocolate/coffee and some lovely desserts from the little coffee cart at the junction where you turn up to Paradise Pier, and we park on a bench to await the parade.

Just my 2 cents! :o) Have a blast!

3) Do they give out dessert boxes similar to Fantasmic?

In the past, they have done boxes, not sure whether they do anymore. They actually had cheese and fruit in them, along with the desserts.

We got our tickets through using our Disney Visa to book the trip. I also heard that it's only for Disney Visa members? No dessert boxes were provided and the area was by playhouse disney at the end of the parade. It would be nice to know if they also sell tickets to seat in that area, but it does fill up quick as there were about 4 benches and the concrete wall to sit on.

They used to do this years ago so this is what I remember. There were several packages available. One had seating along Sunshine Plaza with the Soap Opera Bistro behind you. The bistro is now Playhouse Disney.

The other was at the Tratatorria.

You would set along the edge outdoors and have a table overlooking the parade route. Currently these are not offered and you will have to wait until the parade is back on schedule.

Personally I prefer one person down at the rocks blocking out a large spot while the rest of the group does rides and brings back ice cream and snacks. I used to camp out there and watch the parade with a full dinner, drink and snacks. It is free and easiest to keep ploppers from plopping in the middle of your group during the parade. For criss cross fries I would block out spots, lol.

I wil now start my own business. Churchy's Spot Savers, space saved for up to 4 people, cost is a cheddarburger and criss cross fries or dole whip and a hot dog on a gluten free bun.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I need my nap as I was doing food again and am not serious.
or am I ?
not:lmao:

Thank you all for the info and opinions. It does sound just as easy to stake out my own spot or to hire the services of Churchy's Spot Saver. lol! I love that idea. I bet it would be a success!

LOL at the job and please it is a joke. I will take friends or meet friends in the parks and help them with child wrangling and spot saving. I fear only two things besides online bullies. The government that pays for my disabilities and Disney who is reading this as I post.

I remember how one VMK game site manager was underground member of several boards.:lmao:
