El Pirata y El Perico? Is it open these days?

We used to really enjoy eating here for a quick bite - but, it's been closed more often than it's been open on all of our trips over the last couple of years.

Has anyone eaten here lately? I seem to remember them opening it up temporarily sometime in the fall for a "test" phase - does anyone know if anything came of this?

It's closed EVERY time I've been - and that's 5 times in the last 3 years. I'd love to try the place. My family poses in front of the sign every trip just as a goof since it's always closed. It's become a running joke!

We go every summer and it has been open. Last summer it was only open 11-3. The food is still as good as ever, though the taco meat tasted a little funky last year.

I don't understand why it is closed so often, everyone seems to love the food. On our last trip it was closed and we were very disappointed, the time before it was open. We love eating there.

while we were there last week i ended up asking a lovely CM since the day before i had been opened. it turns out that it's only open during the crowded weeks such as the holidays and the summer. no clue as to why though.

It was closed when we went last year during Spring Break. I love this place and I thought surely it would be open since the parks were so busy. I was really looking forward to that taco, too! I was soooo disappointed when we got there and it was closed.
