Eh! Canadians! How is Le Cellier?

My DH liked all my PS arrangements but one. He doesn't want to try Le Cellier - he says it would be like an Italian family going out for spagetti in Toronto. Any Canadians eaten there with good reviews I can show him? I really want to try it out and I am hoping I can convince him. He is so easy going, I know he will try it for me but I just want to put his mind at rest...

Alysa... we're just down the street from you in Burlington. My husband and I met while working in the Canada pavilion and were servers at Le Cellier. Everyone that worked there wanted to eat there whenever we could ... just like every other guest and cast member. The food and atmosphere is just that good. If your husband likes steak or prime rib this is the place.

We're from oakville too! We go to Le Cellier every trip without fail. Trust me, its to die for. The cheese soup *drools* the pretzel bread *yum* and the 7oz filet with Maple BBQ sauce and cream cheese mashed potatoes *purrrrs* You'll love it! Plus its really fun to tell the servers where you're from in Canada. One of my best friends (who lives in oakville too) worked at Le Cellier for a few months and loved it. You'll have a great time and a great meal

I'm from Mississauga. I agree with the other posters. I love Le Cellier... especially the cheese soup!!

Hi, I am from Scarborough ON and I took my mom and dad to Le Cellier last February and it was amazing!

We had the cheese soup and beef barley soup, the pork tenderloin the salmon and the prime rib (the absolute best ever!) along with the dessert sampler. It was all so good and I would never hesitate to go there again.

No offense to your husband, but I can't remember the last time I saw real cheese soup on a menu in a Canadian restaurant. Or the pretzel bread, or maple creme brulee or Canadian club cake. Beef is on just about every menu in WDW, it's just a matter that Le Cellier's is just SO GOOD.

In my hometown of Halifax, a new restaraunt just opened (to fantastic reviews) under the management of an old CM from the Canadian Pavillion... I believe he got his start at Le Cellier!

I love Le Cellier, and I love the new restaraunt up here... so make sure to sway your hubby into trying it!
