Eguides to Go for Palm

Does anyone use this? Is the information still current? It looks like it could be useful but the most current posts that I could find on the DIS about the software were from 2002 so I am wondering if it is still updates or if it is old info.

We used eguidesto go on a trip back in May and the data was up-to-date. The menus were great to have on-hand in the hotel room. My wife is a bit of a picky eater, and being able to review a few different menus really helped save us some walking. One night I even conviced her to grab us takeout from the ESPN Club and was able to tell her what I wanted before she left the room.

There's a site called (I believe) PocketDisney.com that has some park maps and other stuff.

Thanks for the quick reply. With several little kids with us the bathroom locations looked helpful as did the transportaion information. Did you use either of those features?

I didn't do a whole lot with the park guide itself. All of the information presented is text-only, so don't expect any fancy maps. I believe there is a downloadable "trial" version on the web site that you can check out before buying.

I just downloaded the EGuides, and I'm happy with it!

I hadn't looked at the bathroom information so I ran down to get my Palm to check it out for you. There's a section for each park, and within each park, there's a bathroom section. It then asks you where you want bathrooms for (Adventureland, Fantasyland, etc....).

For example, under Adventureland it says:

Restrooms located
1. In the breezeway between Adventureland and Frontierland.
2. Across from Pirates of the Caribbean, in El Pirata Y el Perico to the left as you face the cash registers.
3. To the left as you exit Pirates of the Caribbean.

For transportation, it asks where you want to go, and then it asks where you're starting from. It then tells you how to get there.

Pretty darn handy!

I downloaded eguides to go last year, and it has always been helpful for planning my trips. If I'm not at the computer and want to plan my meals, I can check out the sample menus which are the same as on allears.net. The transportation section is worth it alone! The downloads/site is updated every Mon or tues according to the website. Very helpful too with park entertainment updates too!
