I'm particularly interested to see how the DTD/hotel portion of the hunt plays out between March 2nd and March 27th. Although I'm sure that Disney ordered many more maps this year, since the Egg-stravaganza is going to last more than twice as long as it lasted in the past, the fact that non-park guests will also have access to the DTD segment should mean that those maps could sell out much more quickly. At the same time, I wonder if people who don't particularly follow Disney news and events that closely will know there is an egg hunt happening in DTD. Most likely, if the DTD leg of the hunt is anything like the DL and DCA sections, some of the eggs will be very visible and out in the open for all to see. People passing through DTD would probably see at least a couple of them, and even more of them if they went into the Disney-specific shops.
Now the eggs at the hotels, on the other hand, could be more out of the way of the general flow of DTD traffic and not as obvious unless people actually know to look for them. I can think of all kinds of places where very large eggs could be hidden at the 3 hotels (like, for example, around the geyser area at the DLH), but I tend to think that they will probably not be very hidden at all.
