I have not eaten eggs in a long time, but I was eating them at Disney World for a couple months when I stayed there. I noticed the eggs at Wilderness Lodge at Whispering Canyon and Roaring Fork tasted more real than at Chef Mickey's (which were terrible to me and I felt like that whole buffet was a waste of money sadly) Why is this? I would think they would use the same kind of eggs everywhere. Are there any restaurants on disney property that serve real eggs (not in that liquid form)?

Your only bet is to to go somewhere that serves like poached or fried eggs instead of scrambled. Not a quick service probably

Keeping scrambled eggs "fresh" on a buffet line is hard and can account for some of the difference

People seem to like the eggs benedict at the Grand Floridian Cafe

Most of the "scrambled" eggs at the buffets are powdered eggs. Cheaper for them to just throw out when they hit their time limit in the buffet.

For all of the great skill Disney has for food....they still suck at bacon and they suck at scrambled eggs.

I like the scrambled eggs at Garden Grill.

P.S. I just saw that apparently the Garden Grill breakfast is not operating now. I hope it will be back around as soon as possible!

Restaurants use "liquid" eggs which are real eggs that are already mixed and packaged. It's faster to pour out to prepare and consistent. Just about every restaurant does that today.

The contract Disney has for most of their egg supply is from a factory in NJ. This is only in liquid form they come in massive bags/pallets. I doubt these are the only eggs used onsite, perhaps they are only for scrambled recipes or a buffet/ recipes.

Every time I've had Eggs Benedict at the Grand Floridian Cafe, the eggs have been really undercooked. I get much better at The Wave (and not on the buffet since they can be soggy).
