Eggplant Parm at Tony's??

I have never tried eggplant but figured Tony's would be a good place to try it. Does eggplant taste like zucchini? Or what does it taste like. I'm open to try new things and would very much like to try this but wanted to see what everyone else thinks of this dish!

Eggplant has next to no flavor, and I think it is like zucchini. I haven't had eggplant parmesan at Tony's, but lots of other places. It's really a means of conveying the breading, cheese and sauce to your mouth more than anything else.

I disagree about the taste of eggplant - I actually love it. Sometimes it is a little bitter but not if its prepared correctly. Eggplant parmesan is wonderful if done right, but very few restaurants seem to get it.

The only time I've noticed eggplant getting any flavor is by roasting it and making it into baba ghanouj. In eggplant parm I never taste it.

The eggplant parm at Tony's is one of the better dishes to have at Tony's. Tony's does not have the best food but this dish is a winner. Give it a try and I think you will like it.
