I posted this in another thread, but I'm curious about everyone's thoughts on whether I'm just trying to fool myself into thinking the last week of September will not be as busy and I know it probably will be.
I've been wondering what kind of effect the recent deals such as the 4/3 and the 40% PIN's that went out will have on the Free Dining this year. It seems to me that there may be at least some families that would have normally waited until free dining came out to book or head to WDW, but instead jumped at the great deals that were offered at other times this year - especially those families with kids who would have to be pulled out of school for free dining, but could go when school was out for the 4/3.
I know that there were some posts on this board about free dining not seeming to be as big of a deal this year, and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
Is it possible that free dining will not be as busy this year - not only because of a general downturn in the economy and its effect on Disney, but also because many of the people looking for bargains went earlier in the year?
Or am I just trying to talk myself into thinking it won't be as hard to get the ADR's I want come June 27?
