The Student Council at the school I teach at is considering taking a trip to Europe through EF Tours. I'd love to hear any experiences anyone has had with this organization.

I took a senior class trip to Greece, Italy, and Germany in 2004 with EF tours. It was an amazing trip, and our tour guide through EF was phenomenal. I know this isn't much help, but I don't remember any bad experiences with them ( i tend to remember the bad over the good )

I took my senior trip in 2009 to London, Paris, and Rome (we also went to Versailles, Florence, and Assisi). It was a WONDERFUL experience. I loved going with EF because they guide you through the tricky things that you really do need to have a hand-holder for... things like public transportation, lol. But they give you a great, reasonable amount of freedom at the places you visit... I remember we got hours to roam around in the Louvre. It was such a great experience. Our teacher loved it because she automatically got to go free, and once a certain number of students signed up, she got a free trip for another chaperone (she chose her husband :lovestruc). I was a little worried that the hotels arranged for us would be sketchy, but they were great. Really. I can't say enough good things about EF.

Good information, thanks! If they get enough student participants, I may tag along as a chaperone.
