OK, had all of our ADR's made for our trip on Dec, 30th through Jan. 7th.
Got the mail today to find another confirmation package for our trip- opened it and panicked- the dates were for Jan. 4th through the 7th. I thought our conf. was messed up. Called Dh and was all upset that the reservations were messed up knowing that there are few rooms available during that time frame. I found out that DH has made an addition to our iten. He paid for, without my knowledge, my DMIL to join us the last 4 days of our vacation. This is great because I have many health issues and have a very hard time taking care of the boys and an extra set of Grandma hands comes in handy after a week of hard touring.
However, I made ADR's for 5- 4 people and a toddler in a high chair. I don't really want to mess with the ADRs at this point as I'm concerned that they will get messed up. So, here's the problem--- how to add her to our 3 TS meals-
----Sci-Fi- hopefully we can just put her in the car with us ( they hold 6 ) if dining hasn't filled the one left over spot in our car ( when I tried to get these reservations earlier in the week the person on the phone told me they could split us up into 2 cars until we changed our dates and got in 1 car all together - so apparently they will fill available seats
)
----Biergarten - buff. so maybe not a problem????
----Crystal Palace- another buff. so again- problems adding her?
Please advise me as we do not want to give up our ADRs- Dh paid for her DDP so all of her food is covered- we ourselves, are not on the DDP this trip- I told him that the DDP does not reserve seats- he was a bit put out saying that they should honor the DDP and have a seat available for her since it's already paid for- I explained that it just doesn't work that way that it reserves food not seats and she has to have ADRs
So, do we just show up and hope for the best, or, do we call and mess with the ADRs
How hard would it be to go from 5 to 6 in this case- ?
I'm hoping that with the buff.s we can just say a party of 6 and we will all be seated- advice please!
