EEK!! I watched a scary movie and now I'm terrified!!

I'm in the family room downstairs, all by my lonesome. THe door underneath the deck is opened but locked, but there are no lights in the hallway or on the stairs - my mom insists on turning off the lights off, especially in the summer.

Anyhoo, I was flipping through channels and got interested in a movie that ended up being Halloween: Resurrection. And, idiot me, I started watching it. Then I got scared. So I turned it off and turned on Newlyweds instead. Well, that's all find and good, but I'M STILL SCARED!!

And, to top it all off, I'm hearing things now. Branches cracking, stairs creaking, the door sliding open....I'm petrified that someone is gonna jump on me!!

And I'm also THIRSTY!!! But I can't leave this room until someone either puts lights on or comes to escort me upstairs!!! And everyone is sleeping or in the shower!!

HELP ME, DIS!!!!

pick your poison now, whoes gonna get you Jason :teeth: , Freddie, Chuckie or the Leperchan

"Pop Daddy, The Comedian."

That's NOT funny!!!

And anyways, it's Michael Myers.:worried:

But who knows what his friends are up to tonight. Perhaps YOU should make sure YOUR doors are locked!!

:(

Thanks for the hugs, Krista.

But that darn door is still open and the light in the stairs isn't on.

*yikes*

How long before somene comes down here?!?

Do you have a blanket? If so, just get under it. Nothing can get you if you are under there. And how is the door open, yet also locked ?

Screen door. It's like 200 degrees if we don't air out the downstairs, so the door door is open, but the screen door is locked.

And my blaaaaaaanket is upstaaaaaaaaairs!!! :(

Someone's getting a drink, I can hear her....I'm gonna make a run for it, turn on all the lights, and then worry about the murdering madman in the corner when I get back downstairs with my drink....

Don't worry, Kylene. I'm pretty sure they killed him in the end of the movie (don't they always? :teeth: ).

Oh yeah - don't forget to get your blankie while you are up there :).

You don't know how lucky you are! I have yet to see a really scarey movie! Nothing scares me. I end up laughing thru most of them. The only one that creeped me out a little was the chainsaw massacre (the one from the 70's I believe).
You're lucky, very very lucky. :p

Yeah. Lucky. I'm also one of the "lucky" ones who can't see 3-D. You know, actually, I don't get scared that easily unless I'm alone. Then I'm a scaredy cat. Like, I went with a friend to see Signs a couple years ago. We literally laughed at the theater. Then I dropped her off and started..."seeing" things out of the corner of my eye. I couldn't brush my teeth without a lookout for two weeks. The kids I babysit for, to this day, have not let me live it down.

But all is good. I've got my drink, I've got ol' Blankey McBlankey, and I left a light on. Cranked up the ol' Winamp and now have Clay Aiken serenading me, and I took a giant yard stick with me to lock up the door, so that's done, and warned Mom NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, to turn the light off on the stairs.

I think she's gonna do it just to spite me.

And I also don't think he's really dead. Cause there's always a sequel down the line.

Clay will make you feel better ::yes:: .

I'm glad you made it back alive - and with ol' Blankey McBlankey in hand, too :teeth:.

He does, until I remember that I have to think of a really REALLY good plan to try to get tickets. Or else there WILL be crying.

I was debating going to see him at Foxwoods until I saw the price of the tickets: $82.50 for the cheap seats :scared1: ! That's scarier than any horror movie if you ask me ;) .

Perhaps the scarier part is that I wanted to buy the $110 seats!!!

I got through pretty quickly for those, they transferred me to Wampum Club, only to tell me that my $13.96 in points wasn't enough to cover the cost. No, really?? Whatever, I didn't realize you had to purchase the ENTIRE things with points. I think that's dumb.

Well, whatever, by the time they transferred me over to the regular seats, they were sold out - I've heard it's either 1,400 seats or 4,000 seats. Either way, I wanted to be in there, and I still plan to go up the day of the show and hope hope hope.

I also tried to get tickets for Atlantic City...took the day off from work and everything, got through, and found out they sold out (1,100 seats) in under ten minutes.

The only tickets available for ANY of those shows are going for, literally, $700 and up at brokers and eBay. And I can't afford that.

I thought maybe I could find Clay playing roulette and schmooze him enough to either slip me some tickets or offer a private show (either of which is fine by me), but then I realized he's not really a roulette kind of guy....I'll have to look for the Solitaire table. (*buh-duh-bum*)

*sigh* I'd battle any movie monster for that man. Bring it on, Michael Myers....

You know, I was thinking of going to the casino that day JUST to be in the same building with Clay (how pathetic is that  ?). Don't think it will happen, though. Too many things going on to justify just going to the casino and not the concert :( .

Who needs to justify it?

My mom told me to stop whining (cause I've spent the last three weeks moping about it, especially after I found out that Make-A-Wish got donated tickets and I had to be a "sport" and say good for the kids, those NON-Clay fans who get to see him instead of me), and I really haven't stopped it, so I'm pretty sure she'll get back at me by turning off the stairway light. It sucks that I'm 24 and she can still get me like that.

However, if you don't get to go up, please please please send pixie dust my way? Stranger things have happened, you know....who knows if I could bump into him or something. I might faint, mind you. I tend to forget to breathe when I meet one of "my boys". If I'm alive though, and if I get to talk to him, I'll make sure we find working internet so he can say hi to you too! :wave2:

I think I would faint too even if it was only online. I'll be sending some pixie dust your way. You never know what might happen :wizard: .
