EEEEEK! We're leaving in a week! TTC question!

I'm now in MAJOR PANIC MODE - we are leaving for WDW (first timers) next Saturday - I've got ressies with TTC to pick us up at MCO around when our flight arrives at 10am. I don't remember specifically asking about a grocery stop...just assumed it was ok. Do I need to call and make sure the stop is scheduled? Is it too late?

And - should I request a specific driver??

As you can see, my poor brain is on overload!

I don't think you need to request a specific driver, but you should call and make sure the grocery stop is scheduled. Although TTC does try to accomodate unexpected requests, sometimes they are not able to make the grocery stop if it wasn't requested in advance. Call them!

I called TTC this morning to confirm my reservation. And guess what, I did make arrangements for a grocery stop. I sometimes surprise myself!

Can I choose which grocery store I stop at? From other posts I have read, it looks like Publix is the place to go.

Any comments?

I know they won't stop at Super Wal-Mart. I already asked them that question. They said it's always packed and takes too long.

Our driver took us to a grocery store a mile or so off I-4. Don't remember if was a PUBLIX or not, but I found prices to be about the same as at home (and VERY reasonable compared to the General Store on the Boardwalk. We ran out of milk and bread. LOL). I think each driver might have a "favorite" store and I think they choose so that you/they can get in and out in half an hour or less. That's probably why they don't want to go to a Super Wal-mart. LOL! If you're worried about it, just talk to the driver when he/she picks you up. I'm pretty sure most of them are "locals" and know the territory well enough to avoid the more expensive places.
