Hi, I'm trying to plan a DL trip very last minute (long story why) its the first time for my DH (!!!! I know!!!!) and for my DS5 and DD3. We're very excited :D yay!

But I am so confused...theres so many options! I'm usually very hardcore about planning vacations n such- but we're low on time so I can't devote as much energy to this as I'd like to. I'm relying on those with more knowledge than I ;) So far I know we want an economy hotel, we'll be eating most of our meals (probably breakfast & lunch) outside of the park since we're going back to the hotel midday for naps. But we REALLY want EE, if at all possible.

I am looking at DL's main page right now at good neighbor hotel & ticket packages. The one I picked for Red Roof Inn says $612 for 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 day park hopper passes. What I'm not sure of is does this include tickets for all 4 of us? Does the pricing sound right for that? And would it include EE if we upgraded to 3 day park hopper passes? (I noticed on Candy Cane Inn's website- their link to 3 day hoppers included EE, so I'm wondering if this is a standard thing, or something special only CCI is doing)

But if anyone has any ideas or information on how to obtain EE w/o staying at the DLR hotels, please let me know! Thank You!!! :D

edit to add: we're going to the park May 21 & 22, Sun & Mon

Yes, that price is right. It is tickets for all of you. And, if you upgrade to 3 days you could use your EE on Monday.

That package would also give you Toon Town morning madness. That is the best time and place to meet Mickey (to answer your other thread).

Thank you so much! I guess we'll upgrade to 3 day hoppers...anyone know what we can do w/ the extra day? Id hate for it to go unused...are we allowed to give it away before we leave? RAOK?

Will you not have time to use a third day? If you have time, use it to also explore California Adventure. You would not be able to give it away to anyone, as I think they ask for ID at the gate when using tickets.

My kids are 5 and 2. We went last year, for the first time, and they really enjoyed Bug's Land, and playing in the fountains at California Adventure.

And I know everyone raves about CCI, but Tropicana is closer. I have never stayed at CCI, but I would, based on reviews here. Everyone here says their breakfast is better and it's a nice place. But we have naps to consider here, too, and we liked the Tropicana. We stayed in a room with 2 Queen beds, and it was clean, and a nice place to crash. And very close.

Don't worry, CCI is a nice choice. But thought you might want to think about a hotel that's as close as possible, when you are considering mid-day naps.
