Question about EE. Although alot of people say to take advantage of early entry, wouldn‘t that mean that the park with the EE will be super crowded on that day? Would we be better off avoiding the EE park on that particular day and going on an off day instead? We will be there during Easter week of 2006.

Yes - EE are more crowded during busy times (like Easter week) so they should be avoided. But if you went during an off time, you can do a million things that first hour!

Plus, I think with the new tickets, more and more people are not buying the hopping part of the tickets, and therefore stick around the park for the whole day.

We've always had great success with going to the EE park until 11:00 or so then "hopped" to another park for lunch and the rest of the day.
I have wondered if the MYW tickets would cause the EE park to be really crowded with fewer hoppers.

I think if you get there right when EE starts you'll have a great chance of seeing many attractions.

During that time of year, as soon as you see your wait times getting to be more than 1/2 hour I'd head back to your resort for lunch, swim & to relax & then head to the park that has the evening EMH.

Are you going with children & if so, how old are they? Will they be able to stay up late?

Yes we are traveling with children. Two girls, ages 5 and 11. I dont think they will be able to stay up late and get up early for EE. I dont even know how thrilled they will be to get up for EE at all. I think on EE days the park opens at something like 7 am. So realistically, we would have to get up very early.

We are staying at the Dolphin and plan on going to Epcot most nights. So that is one less park to worry about going to during the day. My main concern is MK and MGM. Do you know what the weather is usually like in April?

We have been going to Disney with the kids since our first was 1 1/2 so needless to say, they have seen it all. I guess whatever we can fit in will have to do. Have always gone there in the fall so this will be quite different for us. We plan on doing Universal for 1 day also. So that kills a day for Disney right there. :earsgirl:

If you can get up early then I would suggest doing morning EE. Will your kids want to do ToT & RnR at MGM? If so, then definitely do EE at MGM & I would suggest MK also.

We've been there numerous times over Easter & we are also Disney veterans like yourselves.

In all honesty, at that time of year the weather is usually great. We'll take a morning for the parks, back to the resort for a swim & rest & then head back to a park to do evening EMH. The next morning we'll sleep in & just do a pool day & maybe head to Downtown Disney for a hours at night.

We have AP's now so we don't feel we have to rush through the parks.

I definitely wouldn't do a late night & an early morning & I would do any more than 2 early mornings in a row.

Have a great time!
