EE at IOA and strategic advantage for DA? Any changes/feedback lately?

So it looks like EE will be at IOA through the end of March, which will include our trip. (I called the hotels today to add something to our ressie, and asked--she said IOA through March 27.)

When it first switched over to IOA from UO I read mixed results of taking HE over to try to get a jump on DA when it opens. Is it looking any better lately?

It will be nice to see Hogsmeade with less of a crowd ("packed with Muggles, it's the same every year"...ok, that was King's Cross, but you know what I mean!) but we really wanted to be able to have some quality time in DA.

Also, as an aside, wondering if anyone can confirm the continued availability of hot butterbeer, now that it's not really winter anymore?

Last I heard ( I had family down there last week).Taking the Hogwarts express over is just as unpredicatable now as it was when we went end of Jan.1 day they did it and it got them there at the same time as the front gate, one day it got them there after the gate and one day it was completely DOWN for technical issues and wasn't running at all

Thanks...not what I wanted to hear, but it'll be less annoying when I get there if I know not to count on anything! I guess we'll just plan on enjoying Hogsmeade and FJ with fewer muggles in the way, and if we get a jump on DA, then it's a bonus.
